Find the Heron Creek Loop trail for a consistent surface and elevation, or connect several trails to visit the riparian area and full breadth of this State Park along the Willamette River. The main parking lot caters to an Off Leash Pet Exercise Area, with hoses to wash the mud.
Trail maintenance is obvious and appears landscaped, the crew are eliminating invasive ivy along the embankments, and clearing the forest floor of debris. Trail signage is poor, plan your route from the Park map at the main parking lot.
